About The Event
––– Indonesian Community Connect (ICC) Inc. will host the Little Indonesia HOLIDAY BAZAAR on Saturdays starting November 20th to December 18th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
These events, which are open to the public, offer community members a chance to immerse themselves in the rich Indonesian culture through traditional food, LIVE music performances, traditional dances, job fairs, community information booths, and much more!
The 5-week series of the Little Indonesia Holiday Bazaar also serves as an important key to the team’s fundraising efforts to support the mission of the operation of Little Indonesia Cultural Center. Throughout the 5-week series, we will create a platform for the community to take advantage of any promotional opportunities that the center offers to benefit the broader community.
This event will take place at the Little Indonesia Cultural Center, located at 156 High Street, Somersworth, NH.
The Cultural Center functions as the hub of resources to the community in the surrounding area that includes Little Indonesia Gift Shop, an Indonesian Food Pantry, ICC’s Office, the Indonesian community support services, and community resources which includes, healthcare, immigration, workforce, law enforcement, educational, food distribution, translation and interpretation services.
The ICC is a local non-profit with a mission to become a bridge that connects communities across cultural divides by promoting intercultural respect and understanding through events such as the Little Indonesia Holiday Bazaar.
The Little Indonesia Holiday Bazaar will feature traditional Indonesian and street food from various local food vendors, as well as LIVE music performances, dances, arts, crafts, raffles, a variety of artists and markets joining this event to make your holiday extra special at the Little Indonesia Cultural Center. The Little Indonesia Gift Shop will also be open throughout the event for many of you who are looking for any gift ideas just in time for the holiday season.
During this event, the ICC will also host several employers and business partners as part of a local job fair, and to provide access to career resources for many community stakeholders.
This Holiday Bazaar is always going to be a lively, culturally-rich experience and the perfect opportunity for the community to connect with the ICC’s mission and cross cultural bounds in order to learn more about Indonesian culture.

"Since the opening of the Little Indonesia Cultural Center, we have seen how this place has become a
point of place for help. It feels so good to be able to help the community with the existence of our
center. It isn't just an office or Cultural Center, or gift shop, it has become the HUB for the community.
This is why we do what we do, this is why, four years ago, we made our vision and mission statement to
become the bridge for Indonesian culture with the community in the surrounding area. We help in
bridging the gap, establishing access to many information resources, facilitating mutual understanding
among different cultures and values and at the same time, promoting the richness of Indonesian cultural diversity. This has been the long-term grassroot vision of the nonprofit. The Little Indonesia Cultural Center will be the cultural hub in downtown Somersworth that will further integrate the Indonesian culture into the state of New Hampshire"
